Westerham Brewery and Tap Room may be a relative newcomer to the scene (est. 2004), but brewing in Westerham can be traced back to the 1700s. In WWII, the town's brewery even sent beer to Biggin Hill to be racked into the auxiliary fuel tanks of Spitfires, to supply Westerham Ales to the troops in France. Santé!

Today, nostalgia gives way to modernity in this engaging stop-off. The brewery plays host to a Jazz Lounge, Comedy Club and regular quiz nights as well as running the craft beer tap room and coffee shop. To keep locals and visitors on their toes, the tap room features a changing roster of street-food vans. Traders evolve over time but you might catch Meat the Chef; the Moules and Bread Shed; Curry Squad; or Spaghetti Westerham (our favourite, we're suckers for a foodie pun). Each serves up from noon till late.

Take away some colourful cans of craft beer or, if room in the boot, an 18-pint 'minipin' or 72-pint 'firkin' to share Westerham's unique taste at your next garden gathering.
