Today, Duncan and Claire run their quirky micropub with friendliness and flair. Real Kent tipples populate the bar - Canterbury Ales, Dudda's Tun cider, Hop Fuzz lager - and flour milled practically within earshot goes into the pizza bases. The clever menu works in song titles - from 'Sandwich and a Soda' to 'Soul Food' - to introduce its diverse dishes. This is a place for people who like people (and kids...and dogs) with an emphasis on old-fashioned service and good food done well. The Dog House fuels folk from across this little artisan business village which also has jewellery, clothing and gift shops to poke around if you have time.
