Gilks' is not 'just another garage themed café', it's the real deal. Run by Keith, Linda, Katherine and Thomas Gilks, it's still part of the same family that started the original blacksmith's in Kineton's market square in 1904. The team shares the same goal as those early pioneers: to deliver good, honest and friendly service to the highest possible standard. Today, they refuel people (and recharge EVs) instead of fuelling vehicles.

Gilks' now offers all-day breakfasts, light lunches, great coffee and homemade snacks and cakes in a fun, funky environment. Try a sourdough baguette, meat or veggie Full Service Breakfast or a mighty burger with sweet potato fries for lunch, or try the Hungry Mechanic from the pizza menu at night.

This place is guaranteed to bring a smile to the lips of petrol heads and nostalgia seekers alike. With framed stories unfolding in black and white plus artefacts and displays from different eras, Gilks' will send you on your way with both your curiosity and your hunger sated.
