Mother and daughter Amanda and Emma took over this favourite neighbourhood cafe in 2022. They've transformed it into The Cactus Cafe and Kitchen - taking care to retain its warm welcome and community focus.
Colourful crackle-glazed plates heave with their signature (and giant) pancake stacks - choose from a huge selection of toppings and smotherings. Brunch and lunch options include shaksuka, a fulsome full English or more tropical flavours on toast. The crowd-pleasing vegan breakfast burrito will surely have its own instagram account soon.
The cakes are freshly baked in-house and locally-based Lonton's are the ones to praise for the delicious coffee. Break a journey, meet a friend, hustle with friendly local hot-deskers or simply go in to enjoy the surprising amount of cactus-related kit and paraphernalia that this mum and daugher duo has brought into this colourful café.
