Owners Candida and Georgie stumbled across The Extra Mile and loved its suggestions, so we're thrilled to now welcome their own Hayloft coffee shop (and diverting Interior Design, furniture and lifestyle showroom) into our foodie fold.

The owners' appreciation of function and flow is evident in this converted barn complex. Its south-facing patio, with sun-shading gazebo, is just the spot to tuck into an impeccably presented afternoon tea or healthy lunch. The deep sofas inside are pre-plumped. The Hambleton sourdough toasties ooze with sweet or savoury fillings - almond butter, banana and honey vie with chorizo, feta and sun-dried tomato on the brunch menu - and the peach, almond and pistachio frangipane is a showstopper.

Only the strongest willed can resist a browse of the shop's bespoke furniture and high-class home accessories. Lick those plates clean then add to your latest DIY look book with a steer from the stylish team at Hunters Interiors.
