M1

Tori and Ben’s Farm Shop is an accolade magnet and a triumph of the field-to-fork philosophy. It's on the family farm near Melbourne, where Ben minds the cattle and Tori the Jacob sheep. The meat from these compassionately reared animals is sold in the shop and the expert butcher can practically name the animal it came from, happily advising on the best cut. Join an informative butchery workshop to learn more.

You’ll also find free-range pork and chicken from nearby Packington (chosen for its shared ethics), or you can raid the shelves for vegetables, bread and delicious salads.

Seating is outside, where ample rugs and sheepskins will warm you on chillier days as you tuck into a treacle-cured bacon roll or one of Ben's award-winning Longhorn beef burgers. Benches and vintage chairs gather around tables and are draped with pelts from the farm (for sale in the shop). A top stop-off on journeys to Donington, Calke Abbey or East Midlands Airport.
