M42

Albert Beckett and his small herd arrived here from Shropshire in 1937. Three generations later, the family farm - and descendants of his herd - continue to thrive. Today, the low-gabled and modernised farm complex hosts a coffee shop, bakery, restaurant, cookery school and a gift and goodie-packed farm shop.

Reconnecting people with food and farming is the name of the game, as the breadth of local food options shows. Create a fresh sandwich at the take-away counter or grab a renowned pork bap complete with stuffing, crackling and apple sauce. Delicious traybakes and buns from the bakery are waiting to accompany your onward journey.

Beckett's coffee shop serves up light bites and proper, barista-style coffee using the farm’s own blend; the restaurant has a selection of hearty meals including tasty sandwiches and farmhouse favourites. Don't miss the award-winningly impressive breakfasts which are served all day, every day (except Sundays).
