An unsuspecting country lane leads you to this truly fortuitous find: a coffee lover’s paradise in the middle of the countryside, over the yard from the Lyme Bay Winery. The smell of freshly ground beans guides you in from the forecourt to the artisan coffee roastery where you can catch a glimpse of the roasting in action as you taste the fruits of their labour in the pop-up brew bar, however you take it - from filter to espresso. Proper tea and delicious hot chocolate is on offer for the coffee-averse, and for food there's a selection of delectable cakes and sweet treats from the Exploding Bakery nearby – including apricot flapjacks, carrot cake and salted caramel brownies – that will leave you smiling.

Coffee lovers nationwide have roasted beans despatched from here to their doorstep, such is their renowned quality. Inside, the traditional mechanics are laid bare and the industrial chic offers a clear view of how much care and attention goes into roasting every bean.

There’s plenty of parking directly outside and after tasting one of these artisan coffees you’re sure to be leaving with a bag of very freshly roasted beans. A truly immersive coffee experience.
