The Granary Grill & Deli stands in the Weston Park estate, a grand pocket of Shropshire that harks back to Georgian days of fine buildings and elegant landscapes. The granary, built in 1767, is now a contemporary space shared by the café and an art gallery; the grill is large, open and relaxed, with warm spotlights illuminating bare brick walls and wooden floors.
Sophisticated lunches might start with wild mushrooms and truffle cream on toasted brioche, followed by whole roasted trout and samphire, and finish with peanut butter parfait. The more informal deli serves lighter options: mezze platters, breakfasts, filled bagels, flavourful salads, savoury tarts, tea, barista coffee and homemade cakes. Raid the shop for cured meats, bakery goods, cheese and nibbles.
For furry friends, there’s a jar of treats and miles of woodland paths to explore. For kids, there are giant games in the courtyard and an adventure playground.
