A working farm on the Cheshire and Lancashire countryside, Kenyon Hall Farm has been tended by the Bulmer family for generations, and the personal touch shows. In the Farm shop you’ll find fresh seasonal fruit and veg, home-cooked jams, chutneys and cakes, speciality cheeses and meats, honey from the hives and oven-warm bread – perfect for a gold-standard picnic.
Everything served in the café – soups, stews, sandwiches, salads and cakes – are made fresh in the kitchen using local ingredients. Breakfast is a vision of traditional farmhouse cooking, especially the hearty fry ups with ‘proper’ sausage, bacon, and free-range eggs served with rich Italian coffee and pots of tea.
In spring, the Plant Centre is in full bloom and a delight to browse. Come summer, the pick-your-own fields open for harvesting strawberries, raspberries, currants and more. The autumn Maize Maze is a must for kids and adults alike; the outdoor play area is great addition and was revamped this year.
