John’s Italian roots shine through in his friendly conversation and in the authentic selection of cured meats, anchovies, oils and balsamic vinegars. The handmade pasta uses Italian flour - try the pappardelle with beef shin or the amaretti and squash-stuffed ravioli. The Parma ham and cremini mushroom lasagne has a loyal local following and the capellini with fennel and Cornish crab is an unexpected treat. Murrays' hummus and bread recipes remain close-guarded family secrets, so don't even ask!
Parking can be a little tight so not one for a whistlestop.
