M1

The hard-working Grindal family has converted a series of buildings to make space for a café and farm shop (with a dedicated Beer Barn section) here on their busy working farm.

Baskets display fresh produce such as farm eggs, potatoes, asparagus, soft fruit, rhubarb or pumpkins in season, with other colourful veg from neighbouring farms. Also on offer are cheese, jams, treats and Sercombes pork pies from Rugby, plus local craft beer, tasty gins and wines in the Beer Barn. Bikes often line the car park - cyclists do tend to know where to find the tastiest food for miles.

The Farmhouse Kitchen serves up omelettes, ploughman’s platters, hot meals and cakes. Early risers will enjoy the breakfasts - try Mr Grindal's or the Little Farmer's versions. Refuel in the beamed tea-room or lounge in the garden outside. If you really love the place, pitch your tent in the farm campsite overlooking the Avon valley and stay awhile.
