Farm Café & Shop

A favourite with families, the Farm Café has benefited from improvements by its new owners to transform this roadside 'caff' into a local food destination. Refuel on hearty breakfasts of local bacon and sausages or healthy porridge or granola. The cakes and huge scones produced by the kitchen daily have to be seen to be believed.

For lunch, find a garden table overlooking the fields as you tuck into a steak, mushroom and red wine pie, Pinney’s Smoked Kippers, or something from the sandwich and panini selection. Children’s portions are available and if you've no time to stop, hot drinks, sandwiches and homemade cakes can be taken away (or 'phone ahead to save your having to wait).

The shop stocks local produce including garden plants, vegetables, chutneys, jams and sauces, plus gifts from chocolates to soaps and scented candles. If you're compiling a picnic to take to the Suffolk Coast, give the delicious home-baked cheesy bites, sausage rolls and shortbread some serious consideration.
