A favourite with families, the Farm Café has benefited from improvements by new owners to transform it from a roadside caff into a local food destination. Refuel on hearty breakfasts of local bacon and sausages or healthy porridge or granola.
For lunch, find a table in the garden overlooking fields and tuck into Blythburgh free-range pulled pork burgers, Pinney’s Smoked Kippers or choose from a selection of sandwiches or paninis. Children’s portions are available, and if you haven’t got time to stop hot drinks, sandwiches and homemade cakes can be taken away. You can even phone ahead to save you having to wait.
If you enjoyed your food, pick up some ingredients in the shop which stocks local meat, veg, chutneys and jams; there’s also a range of the café’s popular dishes, such as cottage pie, soups and puddings, both fresh or frozen, ready to warm up when you reach your destination.
