Farm Cafe & Shop

A favourite with families, the Farm Café has benefited from improvements by new owners to transform it from a roadside caff into a local food destination. Refuel on hearty breakfasts of local bacon and sausages or healthy porridge or granola. The cakes and huge scones produced by the kitchen daily have to be seen to be believed.

For lunch, find a table in the garden overlooking fields and tuck into a steak, mushroom & red wine handmade pie, Pinney’s Smoked Kippers, or choose from a selection of sandwiches and paninis. Children’s portions are available, and if you haven’t got time to stop hot drinks, sandwiches and homemade cakes can be taken away. You can even phone ahead to save you having to wait.

After enjoying your food, take a wander round the shop which stocks an array of locally made and sourced produce from garden plants, veg, chutneys, jams and sauces to chocolates, soaps and scented candles. There is also a delicious range of home-baked goods on offer to take away and enjoy later such as shortbread, cheesy bites and sausage rolls.
